Hi, I’m Ean!
If you had asked me back in high school if I would grow up and have a blog where I would have to sit down for hours on end and write I would have laughed so hard I would need to lay down. To be honest, writing has never been easy for me. There is something about getting my words from my brain to the computer that does not come easy but I have been incredibly convicted that in a world full of words there is one thing that needs to be written about more, hope. So, excuse the bad grammar at times and maybe the occasional run on sentence and enjoy the hope.

Hope Remembered…
My favorite passage of scripture is found in the book of Lamentations. The author is much like us. He is experiencing trials, pain, and suffering and it is wearing him out but he does something that helps him change his perspective. He shifts his attention to the Lord. He remembers his (the Lords) faithfulness and this is what brings hope to his life. No, his circumstance does not immediately go away, the sun does not come out while the clouds fade away off the horizon but because he sets his gaze on the Lord he has hope that the circumstance is not some random act of chaos but has been sovereignly ordained by the Lord to be used for his good and to ultimately glorify God… (Lamentations 3:21-23; Romans 8:28)
So, How Are You?
In all honesty, I started this blog for you. Not because I am some amazing writer but because I believe now more than ever the world is in need of some hope. Some actual, life-changing, convicting, helpful, hope that you can cling to no matter how crazy the world gets because if there is one thing that has helped me in the past is that when I remember the Lord and what he has done in my life there is no reason to doubt that he won’t do it again now. If he has brought you to it he will bring you through it. So, if I can help you remember the Lord in times where he might feel distant or just not there then I consider this a success because ultimately it is God who supplies the hope Im just here to help spread it.
